The patient is delivered to the emergency room. The operator connects the device to the compressor, at the hospital or in the vehicle depot, and starts the sanitization.
While the staff completes the report or prepares for the next intervention, the device nebulizes the sanitizing liquid, spreads it over air and surfaces and starts the aeration. No action required.
In a few minutes the cycle is complete: up to 99.9% fewer bacteria and yeasts, no residues, vehicle ready for the next intervention. The cycle can be repeated whenever necessary, without additional product costs.
The sanitizing liquid is a Medical-Surgical Device (Presidio Medico Chirurgico) registered with the Italian Ministry of Health, produced by a third-party company: technical and safety data sheets available on request. The device is patented (patent no. 102022000021411) and the ambulance-specific apparatus is the subject of a patent application (no. 102026000015127, filed on 25/05/2026).
Cycles are started by the operator or automatically, leave no residues and only require a short air exchange before re-entering the vehicle. On request, a cycle log with date, time and duration can be activated, useful for internal procedures.

We provided a WeCare device on loan to an emergency-service organisation in Emilia-Romagna, which used it independently for interior sanitization cycles between one service and the next. Besides verifying operation in real conditions, we worked alongside the operators to understand the timing, spaces and procedures of those who live on emergency vehicles. Feedback was positive and, together with interviews conducted with other organisations in the sector in Italy, guided the development of the ambulance-specific apparatus, now the subject of a patent application (no. 102026000015127).
